Hi, it was decided during last night's Board of Directors meeting to narrow down the choices to only two candidates: Florence (Firenze) in Italy and Nuremberg (Nürnberg) in Germany. The Dutch candidacy was deemed as lacking some necessary qualifications for a host city. The board wishes to thank the Dutch candidacy for "breaking the ice" by being the first candidate for this year's Summer EBTM, though.
This poll will run for two weeks. The poll will be closed on Sunday, January 24th at 18:00 CET. Please only vote if you're planning on attending the meeting. After this poll closes, there will be another poll running for two weeks where we determine the date of the meeting, according to the options provided by the winning candidate's organizers.

Sorry, I didn't know that. I thought it was enough to be a member of Eurobilltracker.
Here I could vote without any problem:

I don't understand the difference between that and this forum. Anyway, no problem.

The settings are indeed different for these two parts of the forum. You'll need to be registered on the forum to be able to vote for the EBTM city. Sorry about that.

The poll has now been closed and Florence has won. Congratulations
The Florence team will continue from here. Their first responsibility will be to pick the weekend for the meeting. Stay tuned for more information.
