Entering serials

Post by emmem »

Yesterday when entering a larger amount of bills than I’m used to, it occurred to me that I use the lower left serial to enter my bills.

I’m just curious which serial other users use to enter their bills :?:.

Just in case somebody enters his bills upside down :? :
The upper right serial is the one that is black. The lower left serial is not completely black. If you take a closer look you will see it’s a bit colored. The best way to see this is to use broad daylight.
I checked only 5,10, 20 and 50 Euro bills, but I think this will also be the case with 100,200 and 500 Euro bills.

Entering serials

This the weirdest poll I've ever partecipated to :)
This is what I do (my father often takes me home large amounts of 5 euro notes, so I usually insert notes in large groups): I order the notes in order to have the same sides facing the same direction (don't know how to say in English, hope it's clear :? ); then I start to enter them, one by one, first the short code, then I turn the note and enter the serial, finally I put the note aside. I know it's complicated, but, you know, I'm weird :D

I'm always using the upper right one.

Interesting to see how the poll results develop...

I don't know if it’s the advanced form who is responsible for this, but for all the last entries I made I used the upper right serial. :?

Maybe I should start a poll about : has the advanced form changed you note entering habits. :)

I always use the number on the right top side. When I'm entering the note with my right hand I'm holding it in my left hand (and covering the number on the left side).

But when I'm not holding the note (it lays next to my keyboard) I still use the right top number. I don't know why, but it is so.
