If there was a referendum next sunday on the Constitution of Europe, what would you vote?
(and why?)

Depends veery much on what the constitution would be like. I wouldn't vote for the current constitution proposal, but I probably would vote for the proposal made by the intergovernmental discussions (HVK in Finnish, someone please translate better). So, I won't vote on this poll quite yet ;)

I'm also not that informed, so I would probably abstain. But I'm counting on getting enough info to be ready to vote on the referendum (I only vote on referenda - I don't like to vote on partiesBossaNova wrote:I'm not enough informed ritgh now.. so if the referendum would be today, I would vote NO!

I have read the constitution (tanks to Avij for the link in another thread)...
I really don't know.
I don't agree with most of you, because I wish we got a federal Europe. This constitution is too complicated, not enough democratic for me... I don't understand why we would get a minister of foreign affaires but no government... I don't see what will be better than today.
If the vote was on sunday, I would probably vote no.
(but I keep my vote on the poll for the moment.

It's better to have one minister of foreign affairs. Now we have two people in Europe who walk in eachothers way. We have Chris Patten (UK) who is a member of the commission and who has the foreign affairs in his pocket. On the other hand we have also Javier Solana (Spain) former NATO secretary-general who is the high representative of the EU foreign policy.
Calling it Minister is maybe a sign to the rest of the world that we are going to speed up our foreign relations. That is where I think that Europe has some problems.

Ah, look at all the lonely Euronotes. Where do they all come from? (The Beatles, Eleanor Rigby)
