Are you going to get a Christmas tree this year?

I want to get a real tree. This year I will buy it. I sometimes fetch my Christmas tree from a forest, but not this year. How about you?

I'll be on vacation so if I would buy a tree, it will be dead when I'm back home. Otherwise, I buy a real tree. No plastic for me. In Flanders, there are no forests for free Christmas trees

. BTW, a Christmas tree costs about 20 Euro and up.

Here they seem to be 30€ and upwards.
20€ is very cheap and made-in-Denmark oslt..

I was the first to vote for a fake tree. We have a relatively lifelike - if somewhat old and worn - plastic tree. This year you can hardly see its green branches, because it is decked with all kinds of red decorations and to top it off: red lights.

I'm the only one who is going to get the tree from the forest. Although there are no proper Christmas trees in my parents forest

Branches grow so sparsely in every tree that all I get are complaints when I bring the tree. No matter how long I search for it.

I don't like all the fuss about christmas, but thats my opinion.

Plastic trees are getting more popular here too. Some people don´t like when the floor is full of needles falling from the tree. But despite the mess I prefer a real one.

Today it was -30 °C and it seem that it´s getting even colder. (It is 10 degrees colder here in the river valley than up in the hills. My avatar shows the temperature at the airport and it is situated on a top of a hill. )It is a problem, because when it is this cold the needles are quite fragile and a fall off much more easily. I have to be very careful when I carry my tree home or it will look rather ugly. Once I made a mistake and stuffed an icy tree inside my car.

I still find needles from that tree.

I´d like to get the tree from a forest, but my parents live far away so it is cheaper to buy the tree than get it from my parents forest. And my old car isn´t very reliable. Sometimes it thinks it is a freezer. I mean the heater stops working. And usually when I get the tree from a forest I have to walk a lot, before I find a tree that I like.

My sister and I have just been putting up our Xmas tree. It's a fake (plastic) one. We're not Christians, but since our parents are, we thought it would be nice to set it up for them. No lights, unfortunately, only decorative balls...

No Xmastree in our house

We have two cats and they have the time of their life if we get a tree in the house. The last time we did have a tree, it took them 4 minutes to destroy it..... So we just leave it like it is

My cat isn't as wild as your cats. It can sometimes play with the decorations, but doesn't damage the tree.

we bought a fake one this year, it has already 500 lights in it, wihch makes it a lot more easy to decorate. It looks like a real one and costed €125,00

My brother bought a real tree and paid €40,00 but in my street somebody is selling trees foe only €7,00 and they look good too.

My brother has three cats and a dog and the only thing that has happened was that the dog chewed on Jozef(I don't know if everybody calls him that) and now he has to go on without a brain.

Hm, our cats really didn`t hesitate.... They came in the room, saw the tree, hesitated for a few second and made a run to see who got to the top the the tree first

. A few minutes later we only had to clean the room and that was the last time a tree came into our house
