Your old cellphone??
Looks like -almost- everybody buys a new phone from time to time. You're not going to tell me all your old phones are used untill they don't work anymore. So ...
What do you do with your old cellphone after buying a new one?

In spite of what you think, there are people who use theire phone 'till its not working any more. I am one off them. (Mainly because I think there too expensive) The same applies for everything I buy, If its not broken there is no reason to replace it.

In my family I was the first with a cellphone, an Ericsson. I bought about 8 years ago. I sold it to one of my co-workers and bought a Nokia 6150, which I had for about 5 years. This phone I use now at work. After the 6150 I got myself a Nokia 6210, which I gave to my wife after buying a Nokia 6310i...
The first one ended up in a drawer after the display broke and I could only read half the information on it. Which is kind of difficult, 'cause I never knew if there were any voicemails or read my text messages.
The second one I dumped when I could get a good offer on a new cellphone. I had already bought a replacement battery once and now that one was getting so bad it didn't last a day - unless I didn't use it, which sort of defeats the point of having
one...
So now I'm on my third cellphone in about six or seven years (can't remember any further back, really), which isn't really that bad, considering the speed sóme people change 'phones...

I don't háve a life.
My first was the old Alcatel One Touch Max, which, after having the battery pretty screwed up, was given to my grandparents. It's still in their house, I don't know if they use it.

I then bought another Alcatel, the OT 301, which also broke down due to battery failure. It's in my house somewhere.

Finally, I now have a Nokia 3330 that has lasted two years so far. I bought it a Nickel battery which has been performing reasonably well (though it has its problems form time to time).

This is my first cell phone, a Maxon. I bought a new one after a year, because:-good old Maxon did never find the new 'broadcast-antenna' that was set close to my house, so the reception was always poor at home.
-half of the time, I couldn't understand what other people were saying at the other side, even in areas with good reception.
-I could buy a better cell phone for €25.
I still use it when I forgot to charge the battery or things like that.

This is my old cellphone. My new one (Siemens S55) was relatively cheap because I continued to stay with my cellphone provider. I only had to pay € 89 for it. The Siemens is a triple band, that means I can use it in the USA also ( I visit the US on average twice a year).
Because I spent also a lot of time in the UK I bought a SIM card in the UK and put that one in my old cellphone. Now I can call in the UK for local rates and receiving is free. The best of both worlds.

my first was a phillips, he broke down because you couldn't put him in your pocket and he and he fell a lot of times in my truck
my second was a siemens, he couldn't stand the wasmachien
my third was a nokia 3310, the battery wasn't good enough anymore to use it at work, i had to load him several times a week and i gave him to the child who i am godmother of, and she is very happy with it.
my last one is a nokia 3510i, and i like him, i hope i use it for a long time

My first cellphone was an Ericsson. ( I don´t remember the model) I used it few years, but it wasn´t very good.
So I did send it back to Sweden.
I gave it to my friend, who gave it as a Christmas present to his sister living in Sweden.
I am planning to buy a new cellphone. My old Nokia 5110 is not very good anymore.

My first one was Nokia 2010, last time I tested it still worked, but battery isn't in good shape anymore. Probably will keep it forever. Then Nokia 5110, Nokia 3310 and Siemens C55. Using both 3310 and C55, those I probably won't keep when it's time to get a new one. Old 5110 went to mother
and is still in use as 2nd phone.
As you can see, I need and use a phone, not a toy
Fundamental, here's one of yours, Nokia 880, looks very similar to 2110.

And you pay rest of the price hidden in your monthly fee. Here in the place of free choice we pay more for phones and less fixed feesBugs wrote:My new one (Siemens S55) was relatively cheap because I continued to stay with my cellphone provider. I only had to pay € 89 for it.
But this would be matter of separate thread I think.
