webcam of your hometown

Post by hjkmans »

Somewhere on this forum I happened to travel a bit 'off-topic', and that was the point where I thought it would be a nice idea to add here a webcam of your hometown. If you find out the link, it's just as easy as adding an image.

So, here is Doetinchem live:

I live in Delft, its home to the top technical university in the country. You'd think there would be plenty of webcams... There are, but only ones I can find are of people's desks or laboratories!

But there's a nice one of my birthplace, Scheveningen. Click on the picture to start. You can even take control of the camera and look around a bit.
I don't háve a life.

I couldn't find a webcam in my hometown (Lommel) , but on this site you can have a wonderful vieuw of what Lommel looked like about a 60-70 years ago and now (the photos changes between the old and new photo, so just wait a couple of seconds....) If you like that, here is a much older picture (about 100 years ago I'd say) against a new one.... :)

This is the only webcam from Leiden I can find:

The buildings on the left are part of the faculty of medicines.

My house is not so far from here, if you take the road to the left you'll reach
a roundabout after ±100 m. Go to the left, and after ±250 m you'll reach my
house.
