Are you ready to pay for EBT'ing?
Are you ready to pay for EBT'ing?
I just thinked that are we ready to pay some money for keeping EBT up?
I have used allways only free internet services, but stopped immediately when i have to pay something for using. Nowadays i pay something for just one service, because i have noticed that service is good and useful, and they needed some money to to continuing their work. That's my visitor counter in my homepages, and i pay just few euros in year for that just because it's good (and Finnish), and doesn't do just profit with payments like some large corporations.
I thinked that are we ready to pay for EBT? I could pay few euros for that EBT continues, because this is fun, interesting, and good service for all of us.
But, how much others are ready to pay for this, if EBT goes down someday?

If I had to pay for this, I would stop.
I see this as an awfully great thing, but nothing useful enough to be paid for.
Besides, having to pay something would surely reduce the amount of users.
And that would mean less notes entered and the site would thus work worse.
Well.. Luckily no ones really thinking that we would have to pay for EBT, so what does this matter anyway? :)

So far I never have paid for any site on the internet and i'm not willing to change that. And as Dakkus already pointed out: a paying site has less people on board, less people, less notes, less hits, less fun.
it is better not to say anything and let people doubt if you're stupid; then to speak and take the doubt away. - Mark Twain
Yes, this was only question, what came to my mind when i thinked that IF that someday happends.nodisch18 wrote:As far as i know to,Dakkus wrote: Well.. Luckily no ones really thinking that we would have to pay for EBT, so what does this matter anyway?
So please people, don't think that you're going to have to pay!
(maybe some of our moderators could remove this topic before full panic.

I understand that sites cost money, but really... how much can it possibly cost?
Is someone running this site as their full time job?
Like someone a few posts ago said, tracking my euro bills isn't exactly a service worth paying for, it's only a bit of fun and that's all I can ever see it being.
I'm sure you can find enough people who are deeply involved with the project to shell up for hosting expenses.
