ONE HIT WONDER

A few minutes ago I was delighted and surprised to get this hit http://en.eurobilltracker.com/notes/?id=99266521" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
The note was not marked or stamped in any way.
It is the only note entered to date, by my new hit partner.
I think the odds against getting a hit in 12 days, with just one note entered must be very high,especially as the note was entered in Dublin, 200Km away.

Congrats, nice one. Hopefully this will serve as encouragement for that person to stick around. I do hope though he/she realizes it won't always be that easy lol.

I think those are less unusual, as in those cases the notes might be url'd.

Today a lot of new german users have registered. That could explain why one of them got a hit with only one note.

I think this user may have seen a stamped note,but did not enter the note straight away.
And entered another note when he had the time.
The serial number of the note was not local to Galway and definitely came in from outside.
What I mean is,
In Galway you see a lot of T2847.......
If you see just 1 or 2 T2842....... you know that it has come from outside the local area.

till now, that has resulted in 2 hits:

I stamp notes from time to time and have seen an increase in new users in Galway, but they only enter 1 or 2 notes. They do not always result in a hit as the stamped note is not always the one that is entered.

I was happy to get hit ,but was also happy to see my hitpartner get his first hit after more than 1500 notes entered.
When I stamp a note ,I do not really want it to be found in Galway after just 1 day (although I am not complaining)
I want it to be found in Hong Kong or Sydney,Cork or Donegal.
Nijmegen would be ok too.
If I go too long without a hit, then I stamp a few notes
But now,
I`ll just try and keep 1 or 2 stamped notes for when I meet people going to the airport.
I must try and get to Dublin for the day and bring a few stamped notes .
