What will happen to the Nice treaty?

Post by micdab »

In light of the apparent death of the EU constitution, does anyone know what will happen to the Nice treaty? As far as I understood, the voting system proposed in the Constitution was supposed to replace the one agreed on in the Nice treaty in 2009 or something like that. What's goign to happen now?

Greetings,
mic

It's simple... we don't change anything. We continue to follow the rules of the Nice treaty.

BTW, it's a good point that Switzerland joins the Schengen zone! :)
