Travel from Den Helder to Athens following hits game

The idea is to connect hits and travel from Den Helder to Athens.

I will start with Den Helder - Antwerp.

Now somebody else to get from Antwerp a little closer to Athens and so on until we can see the Acropolis.

Portuguese, Finnish and Spanish will have difficulties to play this game... At least until we arrive to Athens, maybe if after we do an Athens-Lisbon trip...

I don't know the rules, so can anybody, as just Fons did, post any hit, or should it be a hit of the person who posts...?

Do we really need to travel from Den Helder to Athens? Couldn't we just post one hit that goes from the last place to somewhere else and then just keep that going on and on and on?

Like:
Espoo->Hamburg
Hamburg->Paris
Paris->Madrid
Madrid->somewhere...

This game is not as funny as I thought.
