You should use "85356 München" for any EBT use. Only if you wrtite a letter to the Airport yuo should use the postbox: "Postfach 23 17 55" located in "85326 München".

I think that 85356 is the postal code for the airport itself (as kinda village with hundreds of companies and shops inside) and 85326 is the postal code for all postboxes from 23 17 01 - 23 17 65.
So 85356 should be the right one for the area of the airport and all shops within.

The village Oberding has 85445, Freising 85anything (depends on the street), Hallbergmoos 85399 and Marzling 85417

Je länger diese Diskussion geht, desto mehr plädiere ich dafür, daß die separaten Flughafen-Profile eine dauerhafte Angelegenheit sind. Kaum ein normaler Flughafenbesucher wird sich mit den Spitzfindigkeiten oberbayerischer Gemeidegrenzen befassen wollen.

Der Meinung bin ich auch. Jeder größere Flughafen ist ja praktisch ein ganzes Dorf für sich mit all den Läden und Restaurants, und die meisten werden wohl auch weiter außerhalb liegen als die diversen Vororte und Nachbarorte, die auf ETB schon mit eigenen Namen geführt werden. Sie sind räumlich weit von den namensgebenden Städten weg, werden an ihrem Namen sofort erkannt (Blabla Flughafen) im Gegensatz zu den Ortschaften, auf deren Gebiet sie eigentlich liegen.
Postalisch korrekt scheint laut Postleitzahl Freising Süd zu sein, ich hätte den Standort des Ladens dagegen eher an dem Begriff "Erdinger Moos" erkannt - aber wie Gauss schon sagt: für jeden Fremden ist der Fleck dort schlicht der Flughafen München.

Dann sind da ja auch so "zweideutige" Flughafen-Namen wie Köln-Bonn oder Paderborn-Lippstadt und zumindest letzterer liegt weder auf dem Gebiet der einen noch der anderen namensgebenden Stadt.
Es ist wirklich eine gute Idee, die Flughäfen extra zu erfassen (wird vielleicht nochmal ein internationales "Airport-Ranking" daraus )

Ich glaube, das ist bei Münster-Osnabrück auch so, daß der in weder-noch sondern in Greven liegt...

Hm, und ratet mal, wo der Express-Airport Düsseldorf nun wirklich liegt... aber das ist ne Mini-Piste, die man nur dann lokalisieren kann, wenn man weiß, daß sie direkt hinter der Mönchengladbacher Trabrennbahn liegt - also halb in Neersen

Hallo zusammen,
noch schöner ist es in Stuttgart. Wie Nivram hier noch mal bemerkt hat, liegt der Flughafen Stuttgart in einem Ort namens Flughafen. Dieser ist aber (afair) nicht Teil von Stuttgart, sondern ein Teilort der Gemeinde Filderstadt.
Weil das noch nicht verwirrend genug ist: Die Stadt Filderstadt gibt es nur auf dem Papier. Es ist ein Zusammenschluß mehrerer Orte (keiner heißt Filderstadt).
