"Slovenia will not print euro notes for the time being, and will use previously issued banknotes from other eurozone member states. For this reason, no country code has been reserved for Slovenia yet"

I hope this information is useful to you! :) :D

Actually Slovenia does have a country code - it's the "G". But so far Banka Slovenije has not commissioned any notes yet, so you will not find any "G" serial numbers ...

Never mind:
whoever wrote that .pdf wrote:Banka Slovenije has covered its initial requirements of euro banknotes by drawing on the stocks of the Eurosystem. In the years to come, Banka Slovenije will "pay back" these banknotes. Therefore, euro banknotes circulating in Slovenia in 2007 carry the country code (a letter) of the national central banks (NCBs) which supplied the notes. As of 2008, euro banknotes produced on behalf of Banka Slovenije will bear the code letter "G".

I open the file with Adobe Acrobat 6, but at the opening time says me 'This file appears to use a new format that this version of Acrobat does not support. It may not open or display correctly....'.

Curiously it could open the file :D And I'm reading it correctly

I suppose that the file is made with a version of Acrobat more recent than yours.

unfortunately the acrobat site tells me that my version 5.0.5 is the newest version that works on my computer. I tried to install version 6 anyway, but the installation tells me I first have to get Internet Explorer 5.01 before Acrobat Reader can be installed   I won't use IE, so why does it say I need IE for the installation? I have IE 5.00  (which I only installed for another programme that also needed IE to be installed) Anyway, I will not install another IE version again, IE does too many bad things to my computer

According to the ECB website, "G" is not the NCB code for Slovenia ...

Cyprus - G
Malta - F
Slovenia - H

See the FAQ at http://www.ecb.europa.eu/bc/faqbc/desig ... n.html#q10
