I could understand how coins from Luxembourg and Germany get to the town quickly, as it isn't too far from either. Just thought it was strange my first "foreign" coin was in Vesoul ... when I had previously been in Hamburg, Berlin and Paris and only received the "local" coins. Ah well, stranger things have happened.
Probably someone from that small town had made a trip to Italy and brought the coin in. Here in Hamburg we are still far away from everything. I only get about one foreign coin per week. And always from the same countries: Netherlands and Spain, sometimes Austria, France or Italy.

For me, it was only two weeks ago that I finally got a foreign euro coin in my change! I got a French €1 in change from the butcher's. Most of my colleagues at work had gotten one or more foreign coins but it's the person who wants to get one the most that has to wait the longest :)

As for foreign euro banknotes, I've had several so far (and have been educating others too how to recognize them :) )

My diffusion is as follows:

Ireland: 93.2%
Germany: 2.3%
Austria: 1.8%
France: 0.9%
Spain: 0.9%
Belgium: 0.5%
Portugal: 0.5%

Oh, poor boy! 8O
I swapped two sets of coins by snail mail with a nice Italian from this forum, and it worked fine!

Well, I can tell you I was spreading French coins in Hamburg. I read that in Braunschweig they are nearly all Dutch ... maybe they all have relatives from the Netherlands! I bet once Britain joins we'll end up with loads of French and Spanish ones in our change, left over from everyone's holidays!

I've also made that experience. I think users are thrown out after a certain amount of time (to show the names of users who are "online" at the bottom of the index page; I also have to re-login to post THIS).

The session length is set at 1800 seconds/30 minutes. If you think it should be longer, just ask me.. But for now i would say, back to the topic of this nice post.. :D

Hi!

Could the user report be a bit more detailed :?: It would be nice to see my own and also other users' personal note diffusion.
Maybe a country list and the number of notes from each country.
Thank you! :)

 And maybe we could add a hit history on the user report too. Well most users would have some kind of message like “no hits… yet” :? . But it would be interesting when clicking on a hit and then on a user to see how many hits the user has and who he has them with.

If you have foreign coins in your change money, you can "insert" them into www.**deleted spam**. There is also a decent statistics section, if not by user, but by country found, value or country of origin.

Shameless promotion of a rival website. Obviously can't be doing very well if it needs to try and steal people from other sites.

The problem is that in the "view my note" section, you have only 20 notes each time :!: . So i had registed about 300 notes.
it's take a long time to do stat by country
