Aside from the qwerty/ azerty/ qwertz line, there are also a few other small differences I have noticed with keyboards in other countries. For example, where is your @ ? Mine is on the ' key - to the right of the ;
In Austria it was above on the 2 key.
There were some other punctuation symbols which were in different positions, but that is the one I remember the most...
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

My @ is above the 2.
I'm using a QWERTY keyboard.

At my work we sometimes 'take over' another PC using a program called PC Anywhere. I've connected to Belgium sometimes and the problem is that you have a QWERTY keyboard but because you take over that belgian PC, it assumes an AZERTY keyboard.

I sometimes had to call to Belgium to ask if someone could press the ; because I could not find it

That's the main difference between those keyboards. Not the actual letters but the ppositions of all the strange signs like:
!@#$%^&*()_+`~-=[]\{}|:";'<>?,./

That's also the most irritating of (in my opinion) typing on a other keyboard then you'r used to.
Sitting at home ... behind my PC ... talking to Europe ... about notes?

I can use both azerty and qwerty.
All my computers have azerty, but Quake2 was only in qwerty, so I learned to type qwerty on an azerty keyboard. :)

That's mine, too ;)

The @ is above the (non-numeric) 2 and is obtained pressing Alt Gr+2.

@ = alt gr + 0 on my AZERTY keyboard.

there aren't much difference between QWERTY and AZERTY keyboards for letter keys (A, Z, M, W and a few other).

Indeed, it's more the other keys that are completely different.
On most qwerty keyboards you can type numbers by just pressing the buttons above the letters. On (at least my) azerty keyboard you have to use shift to do that.
Ontherwise you get &é"'(§è!çà instead of "1234567890"

My keyboard is QWERTY.
I don't think I could ever write with another keyboard than QWERTY...

My keys are QWERTY in the Finnish/Swedish layout. My @ sign is accomplished with the key 2 and Alt. I had a hard time using the US keyboard because most of the special keys are in different places. There are no accent marks, no Alt Gr, and even the keys .:;, are in different places. AZERTY would be a nightmare! 8O

The most irritating thing about this azerty layout is that you have to press SHIFT + ; to type a .
Especially when typing URLs you have to use the shift button constantly for those annoying dots. :)
